RV Solar

RV Solar is a common term used to describe the activities in implementation and the technology of using solar photovoltaic power for RV (recreational vehicles). These are usually off-grid systems consisting of solar array (a set of solar panels, usually on the roof of the RV or as a shade over the sides), solar charge controller, batteries, load circuit. Sometimes the load circuit of the system may be connected with the automobile battery (the one used for starting the automobile engine), sometimes this is a separate circuit more suited for the specific regime of the solar system of fuller cycles of charging and discharging of the battery pack specifically applied to the solar system and loads for living in adn around the RV, not for starting the engine and running all automobile related loads.
Often RVs are equipped with generators, so an additional inverter or the battery charge controller has to balance between, the solar panels generating DC power, the generator generating AC (or sometimes converted DC power), and the load circuit which could be DC and sometimes inverted to AC for more common AC loads like TV, Radio, PCs etc.
